Description

image depicting the water tower in Florence, Alabama. The original structure was built in 1889 by the Jeter and Boardman Gas and Water Association and was replaced with a new structure in 1935. Notably, the water tower has been listed on both the Alabama Register of Landmarks and Heritage and the National Register of Historic Places in 1979 and 1980, respectively.
