Pope's Tavern, Florence (Alabama). Text on verso reads: "This stately old mansion was built in 1811. It was used at one time as a Stage-stop and Tavern, and later as a Confederate Hospital. It has recently been restored by the City of Florence, and is open to the public daily, Tuesday through Sunday."
