Why does North Cascades National Park receive substantially fewer visitors compared to the nearby Olympic and Mt. Rainier national parks in Washington State? Despite equal proximity to the city of Seattle, North Cascades received only 30,000 visitors in 2018, compared to 2.4 million for Mt. Rainier and 3.4 million for Olympic.
