The Shoals consists of four cities in North Alabama, often known as the Quad Cities: Florence, Muscle Shoals, Sheffield, and Tuscumbia. The Shoals History Digital Document Collection contains documents pertaining to integral components of the community's local history, including its infrastructure, commerce, and key events.
The digital archives also house other collections with more information on local Shoals history. The largest and most topically diverse is the William Lindsey McDonald Collection.
