Description

Repairs to Floyd Hall began March 18, 2002, to remove structurally unsound concrete, replace and resurface unsound rebar, and apply stabilizing coating to surfaces. Talk of adding an additional wing to Floyd Hall was discussed during this time as well to lower the cost of the many improvements needed to maintain this building, but these plans were scrapped. Unfortunately, the growing repairs were too much, and Floyd Hall was eventually demolished in 2017, giving way to the new Anderson College of Nursing building in December 2019.
