Description

Towers Complex was constructed in 1965-1967 as a twin complex for a men's and women's residence hall. River Hall, the 10-story residence hall, would be home to male students, while Rice Hall, the 8-story residence hall, would be home to female students attending Florence State College. The Complex would have recreational areas, snack bars, and sundecks, central air conditioning, ample study lounges, TV rooms, game rooms, and a cafeteria on the 1st floor.
