RESOLUTION OF COMMENDATION
WHEREAS, the University of North Alabama Basketball Team has completed a successful season of play, and
WHEREAS, the University of North Alabama Basketball Team has earned the title of 1991 NCAA Division II Basketball Championship, and
WHEREAS, the University of North Alabama Basketball Team represented the University, Lauderdale County, and the entire Shoals area in an outstanding manner in national competition, and
WHEREAS, the University of North Alabama Basketball Team is indeed deserving of highest praise for this outstanding accomplishment and for their dedication and determination that are the marks of true championship.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Lauderdale County Commission, that the Commission does hereby most highly commend and congratulate the University of North Alabama Basketball Team, coaches and staff, and all those who so greatly contributed to the team's 1991 National Championship.
