Description

Article regarding the “The Harlon Hill Trophy” derived from the UNA Football Media Guide. The text details the creation of the award, legacy of former Florence State Teachers College and Chicago Bears player Harlon Hill, and the achievement of the initial winner, quarterback Jeff Bentrim of North Dakota State (1986), as well as that of 1989 winner, running back Johnny Bailey of Texas A & I. Ultimately, the Harlon Hil Trophy is meant to not only honor the legacy of Hill, but acknowledge the greatest contributions made within Division II football in a given season.
