Description

Anne Howard and her husband, Dr. Dan Howard, were the caretakers of Leo III and Una. The lion cubs stayed at the Howard's home until the new George H. Carroll Lion Habitat was completed. The first public appearance for the cubs was April 14, 2003, at the traditional birthday celebration for Leo.
