Abstract

In an interview with UNA professor Katie Owens-Murphy, Gary Drinkard discusses the work Project Hope to Abolish the Death Penalty does in giving hope to people on death row. He delves into the suicide rate on Alabama's death row, including one who died by suicide involving a fan's electric cord, following which the warden at Holman prison confiscated fans despite dangerous temperatures on death row.
