Abstract
This study describes the research papers published in the International Journal of Project Management (IJPM) and the Project Management Journal (PMJ) over a ten-year period. The contribution is a picture of the level of rigor and research maturity in project managemen tresearch during this period since each paper is categorized using research design framework. In addition, we determine the authors and institutions that have been the most frequent contributorsin order to provide a foundation for the discussion of communication with the field and related disciplines. Finally, previous studies on industry application areas have been updated for this ten year period.
