Description
Depicts front view of small, wooden church in midst of pine trees. "Pine Torch Church" sign is attached to one tree. Cemetery is seen in background to left side of church. Text on verso reads: Pine Torch Church. Standing as it has for more than a century and a half, with its door open, the building erected by, and used for worship services by the Hardshell Baptist. It is now used on occasion for a funeral service, one Protracted Revival each year, and an all-day affair on Decoration Day, the 4th Sunday in May. Pine Torch is between Hepsidam and Bushy Lake in beautiful Bankhead Forest."
