Description

Dr. William G. Cale, Jr. became Dean of the College of Natural Sciences and Mathematics at Indiana University at Pennsylvania from 1989-1994.In 1994, he became the Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs at Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas. He also became Professor of Biology at Lamar at the same time and served in these two positions until 2000. He then became Chief Executive Officer and Dean at Penn State Altoona (Pennsylvania) in 2000. He also became Professor of Biology at Penn State at the same time and served in these two positions until 2005. In 2005, Dr. William G. Cale, Jr. became the nineteenth president of the University of North Alabama, with his official inauguration taking place September 23, 2005. He served in this position until he retired July 1, 2014. He became president emeritus in 2014 and is still serving in this position.
